What to Cook & Bake this Week! 🫶🏻~
Matcha cookies, Ultra Crispy Karaage, Rice Cooker Bibimbap & more.
HAPPY SUNDAY!!
1 week out from Valentines day~ Are you baking up anything? I’ll be sharing an extra cookie recipe here tomorrow but here are two new cookies on the blog (faves from the Christmas cookie box) + some super delicious meals that are quick or hands free:
Matcha Nama Chocolate Sandwich Cookies: Super rich matcha white chocolate ganache sandwiched between buttery, slightly crisp cookies.
Brown Butter Shortbread: Nutty, rich and buttery shortbread cookies that can be baked up soft and melt-in-your-mouth or crisp and crumbly like Walkers Shortbread.
Kyabetsu Yaki: My go-to quick snack or side dish!! Perfect for using up a bunch of cabbage. Similar to tonpeiyaki and okonomiyaki but it’s a pancake made with just water and flour, with a bunch of cabbage and egg folded inside.
Ultra Crispy Karaage Chicken: This fried chicken might be my favourite way to make karaage. It’s EXTRA crispy-crunchy and super flavourful.
Rice Cooker Bibimbap: Usually you have to prepare a bunch of side dishes for bibimbap (or use prepped side dishes), but sometimes we crave it without having anyting prepped and this 1-pot version satisfies the cravings.
Have the best week ever!!
